Who can see the slideshow?
By default, anyone with the link can watch the slideshow, without an account. The link isn't listed publicly: only the people you send it to know it. To go further, add a password.
Add a password
- In the editor, click Share, then the Link tab.
- In the Protect with a password field, enter at least 8 characters, then click Protect.
- Give your loved ones the password along with the link. When they open the slideshow, it asks them for it.
You can Change it or Remove protection at any time. For security, the password is never shown again.
A more meaningful address
In the URL tab, Customize URL lets you choose a readable name for the slideshow's address (lowercase letters and numbers), easier to remember or to write on a card.
The guestbook
The guestbook lets people watching the slideshow leave a message, without creating an account: a name, a message, and an emoji if they like.
- In Share, open the Guestbook tab and turn it on.
- Choose the Message approval mode: manual (recommended, you approve each message) or automatic (published straight away; a message containing several links is held for review).
- Pending messages appear in the tab with a counter: Approve or delete them.
Viewers reach the guestbook from the slideshow's + menu.
